IFMIS - Implementation of IFMIS-Certain changes to the existing Payment mode - Instructions - Issued.




******* It is to inform that the Government have directed certain changes to the existing payments mode and instructed that hereafter from 1st August, 2020 all payments will be credited to beneficiary accounts directly on authorisation by the Government. Therefore all PAOS /APAOS will not be able to change the payment details including net amount, bank details, GSTIN etc., after bills reported ready for payment. In this regard the following instructions are issued to switch over to the above payment mode from 1st August, 2020 onwards. Establishment Bills:

> All Establishment bills shall be reverted to Auditor's login for thorough verification and for further processing as there would not be any scope of changes once the bills are kept in ready mode in PAO's login.

I. > At first the PAOS/APAOS shall verify the each bill physically with that of the Tokens available in IFMIS. For those Tokens, which are not physically available shall be rejected.

> Make necessary corrections and checks and process the bills.

> With regard to the Non BRO (Uncontrolled) bills shall be processed without verification of LOC

> With regard to the Non BRO (Controlled) bills shall be processed with verification of LOC, subject to the instructions issued in. Govt.Memo.No.087-T/268/A1/ BG/ 2020, dt:08-07-2020 of Finance (BG) Department. Work Bills: > After authorisation by Government, PAOS will not be able to change the payment details including net amount, bank details, GSTIN etc., Hence, the PAOS are requested to review all bills ready for payment and edit wherever necessary. Final Bills may also be checked once again with reference to the Bank Guarantees, GST etc., I.
