The attention of the Secretary. Telangana Residential Educational Institution society, Hyderabad all the Regional Joint Director of School Education and the District Educational Officers in the state are here by informed that, the selection of the Best Teachers on the eve of the Teachers' Day Celebrations on 5th September 2025 regarding selecting and finalising the list of Head Masters/Teachers in Govt./Local Body Schools, Lecturers/Sr. Lecturers in the Institute of Advanced Study in Education (IASE)/Colleges of Teacher Education (CTEs) / District Institutes of Education & Training (DIETs) and the Principals/Post Graduate Teachers(PGTs)/ Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) in Telangana Residential Educational Institutions Society to be given on the Teachers Day on 05th September on every year. And it is important to note that No press note has to be issued.
It is informed that, the proposals for the State Teachers' Awards 2025 should contain the extraordinary work and extraordinary contribution for the Academic Years-2023-2024 and 2024 -2025 according to the Parameters issued in G.O.Ms.No.29, School Education (Genl.) Dept, Dt: 14.08.2018.
Further, the following Committee at the District shall finalise the names for the Best Teacher Awards-2025:
Selection Committees:
District Level:
a. District Collector
- Chairman.
b. District Educational Officer
Convener
c. Principal of DIET
Member
d. Any other District level Officer (Nominated by Dist. Collector)
- Member
The District Educational Officers shall furnish total Three (3) names of selected proposals from the following each categories:
a) Gazetted Head Masters in Govt./Local Body schools, Principals in TREIS,
b) School Assts. / Secondary Grade Teachers and Equivalent cadres working in Govt./Local Body schools, PGTs/TGTs working in TREIS.
c) Lecturers/Sr. Lecturers working in IASE/CTES/DIETS.
Therefore, the RJDSE, Hyderabad & Warangal and all the District Educational Officers in the state are requested to identified 3 Best Teachers along with citation not exceeding (10) lines and evidences with facts/figures on each of the selected candidates along with their recommendations and connected documents i.e.. Copy of Note approval of District Collector, One Set of proposals. Selected candidates which was approved by the District Collector, Marks List, Citation, No allegation, No court cases pending on or before 18/08/2025 to the Member Convener, Principal, IASE, Masab Tank, without fail,
