Sub: SCERT, Telangana, Hyderabad - Implementation of Vidya Pravesh (SPM), a 12-week School Preparation Programme for Grade I students in all primary schools across the state commencing from 23rd June 2025 for the Academic Year 2025-26-Instructions Issued - Reg.
All District Educational Officers in the state are hereby informed that Vidya Pravesh (SPM)-a School Preparation Programme for Grade 1 students will be implemented across all primary schools for duration of 12 weeks, commencing from 23rd June 2025, for the academic year 2025-26. The School Preparation Module (SPM) for Grade I students, along with detailed guidelines and classroom activities, has been provided to all primary schools across the state.
The purpose of implementing this programme is to support teachers in creating a warm and welcoming environment for all children through engaging activities, games, art integration, and storytelling. To promote children's overall health and well-being, the programme also emphasizes physical and motor development, socio-emotional growth, nutrition, safety, hygiene, and sanitation.
Therefore, all District Educational Officers are requested to extend their personal attention to ensure the effective implementation of Vidya Pravesh, the school preparation programme for Grade I students, in all primary schools.
