Ref: Note orders dated 15.09.2023 of the Secretary to Govt., Education Department, Telangana, Hyderabad.
The attention of the District Educational Officers of Adilabad, Komarambheem, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jogulamba, Nagar Kurnool, Jagityal, Suryapet, Peddapally, Kamareddy, Jangoan, Karimnagar, Rajanna Sircilla and Vikarabad Districts is invited to the subject cited and they are informed that it has been decided to discontinue Aadhaar Biometric Attendance System (ABAS) with immediate effect.
Therefore, the District Educational Officers of above Districts are requested to issue necessary instructions to all the MEOS / HMS of schools in the District accordingly and to handover the devices of Aadhaar Biometric Attendance System (ABAS) in the Schools to the concerned under proper acknowledgement immediately.
