Sub: PM POSHAN (Mid Day Meal Scheme) Instructions on providing of fortified Ragi Java to the students studying in classes I to X during the year 2023-24-Reg.
Read:-(1)F.No. 9-7/2023-PM-POSHAN 2-1, dated: 18.05.2023 received from the
Under Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Education, New Delhi. (2) Proposal received from Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust,dt:01.6.2023. (3) Govt.Memo.No. 5565/Prog.ll/A2/2023, dated: 15.06.2023 (4) This office Proc. Rc.No. 30/MDM/2023, dated: 15.06.2023.
In continuation of this office proceedings 4th read above, all the District Educational Officers in the State are requested to issue following instructions to all the Mandal Educational Officers and Head Masters in the State:
(1) Place the monthly requirement of Ragi Java powder & Jaggery Powder
duly calculating @ 10 Gram each per day/ per student for 3 days a week to the Sri Satya Sai Annapoorna trust duly deducting the Closing Balances available at school point scrupulously.
Issue instructions to all the Head Masters to maintain separate stock
(ii)
register for Ragi & Jaggery powder. Ensure that 250ml of Ragi Java should be served to students for 3 days (alternate days) in a week. (iii)
(iv) See that Ragi Java should be served to students in the morning hours.
Further, they are requested to make payment to Sri Satya Sai Annapurna Trust as per the bills submitted by them. Also note that 50% of total amount will be borne by the trust and 50% is to be paid by the Department (DEOS) from flexi funds.
