ORDER:

In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have issued orders declaring 18.04.2023 (Tuesday) and 14.04.2023 (Friday) as Optional Holidays on the occasion of Shab-e-Qadr and Jumatul-Vida.

2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Principal Secretary to Government, Minorities Department, has requested to declare the Optional Holiday on account of Shab-e-Qadr and Jumatul- Vida on 19.04.2023 (Wednesday) instead of 18.04.2023 (Tuesday) and on 21.04.2023 (Friday) instead of 14.04.2023.

3. The Government, after careful consideration of the matter have decided to change the Optional Holidays on the occasion of Shab-e-Qadr and Jumatul-Vida to 19.04.2023 (Wednesday) instead of 18.04.2023 and on 21.04.2023 (Friday) instead of 14.04.2023 (Friday) respectively. Accordingly, the following notification is issued and shall be published in the extra- ordinary Gazette of Telangana State:

NOTIFICATION

In partial modification of the orders issued in G.O.Rt. No.2140, G.A.(SPL.E) Dept.

dated 15.11.2022, notifying the General Holidays and Optional Holidays, the Government hereby

declare 19.04.2023 (Wednesday) as Optional Holiday on the occasion of Shab-e-Qadr

instead of 18.04.2023 (Tuesday) and on 21.04.2023 (Friday) instead of 14.04.2023

(Friday) on the occasion of Jumatul-Vida declared earlier.
