Read the following:

1. The Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897, Act No. 3 of 1897. 2. G.O.Ms. No.13 HM&FW(D) Dept Dated:21.3.2020. 3. Disaster Management Act 2005. 4. Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act 2010. 5. Revised guidelines for Home Isolation issued by MoHFW, Gol dtd 10/05/2020. ORDER:

       The Government of Telangana has been taking various measures to combat COVID-19 pandemic. The Government is providing free testing and treatment in the Government hospitals. However, in view of a number of public grievances regarding exorbitant rates being charged by private health care providers, the Government has decided to fix ceiling on the rates chargeable by private health care providers for providing testing and treatment services to COVID-19 patients. The Government after careful examination of the matter, and in terms of the provisions given in the references read above, hereby order to fix maximum rates chargeable by private hospitals for various services provided by them for COVID-19 treatment. Ceiling on prices as shown below shall be followed with immediate effect. 2.
