     All the District Educational Officers in the State are hereby informed that the Director (MDM), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education & Literacy, Shastri Bhavan, New Delhi has requested to share successful case studies of School Nutrition Gardens and also informed that the selected case studies may be included in the booklet "School Garden" slated to be published by the department of School Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education & Literacy, Shastri Bhavan, New Delhi, vide reference cited. Further informed that "large plot or vacant land is not required for setting up of school Nutrition Gardens. Healthy vegetables can be grown in plots, containers, cans, jars, discarded earthen pots, wooden pots, ceramic sinks, food tins, atta bags, on terraces & roofs ete where land is not available. The creepers i.e. all varieties of pounds can be grown as they will creep to walls. Therefore, they are requested to issue necessary instructions to all the HM's of the Schools/Mandal Educational Officers in their Districts to implement the activities on School Nutrition Gardens and submit atleast three successful case studies by 09.09.2019 without fail. This may be treated as "Most Important"
