O  R D E R:

In the references 1st & 3rd read above, the Director of School Education & Ex-officio State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, Hyderabad, has informed that 475 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) are functioning in the State providing residential schooling facility to the out of  school girls of disadvantaged groups who are Orphan, Semi orphan, Single parent etc., predominant belonging to SC, ST, BC & Minorities. Out of which, 84 KGBVs (English Medium) which are presently running VI to VIII Classes, require opening of 9th Class during the Academic Year,2019-20 and 10th Class during the Academic Year, 2020-21. He has requested the Government to accord permission to open 9th Class during the Academic Year,2019-20 and 10th Class during the Academic Year, 2020-21 in 84 KGBVs (English Medium).

2)The Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord permission to the Director of School Education & Ex-officio State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, Hyderabad, for upgrading to 9th Class from the Academic Year, 2019-20 and 10th Class from the Academic Year 2020-21 in 84 KGBVs (English Medium), as  indicated in the Annexure appended to this order.

3)The Director of School Education & Ex-officio State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, Hyderabad, shall take necessary further action in the matter accordingly.
