  Read the  following:

1.  From  the Commissioner & Director of  School  Education,  Telangana State,Hyderabad Lr.No.1035/TE/N1/TSSCERT/2017, dt.26.9.2017, 17.10.2017 &  15.02.2018.

2.  From  the Regional Director &  OSD  (Hqrs)  , NCTE,  Bangalore. Order No. SRO/  NCTE/  SRCAPP201630053/  D.P.S.E/TS/20172018/93132, dated 02.05.2017.

**** O R D E R :

            In  the references 1st  read above, the Commissioner & Director of  School Education, Telangana,  Hyderabad, has  requested  to   allow  DIET,  Medak  to start Diploma  in  Pre School  Education Programme (DPSE)  Two years course with an annual  intake  of  50  students (1  unit)  from  the  Academic  Year, 2018-2019.

⏩ 2. In  the  reference 2nd  read above, the  National  Council  for Teacher Education (NCTE), South Regional Committee, Bangalore granted  recognition to DIET, Medak for conducting Diploma in  Pre School  Education Programme (DPSE) Course  of two years duration, with  an annual  intake of  50 students (1 Unit) from the Academic Year,  2017-2018.

⏩ 3. After careful examination of  the matter  and in  pursuance  of  the  orders  issued by the National  Council  for Teacher Education, South Regional  Committee, Bangalore,Government hereby permit  the Commissioner & Director of School Education, Hyderabad, to start Diploma  in  Pre  School  Education Programme  (DPSE) Two Years programme in  DIET, Medak, with  an Annual  Intake   of 50 students  in English Medium from  the  Academic  Year, 2018-2019.

⏩ 4. In  this  regard the Commissioner & Director of School  Education (C&DSE), Hyderabad /  Director SCERT  is  informed that they shall  take necessary action as per the NCTE  norms and existing rules  and regulations regarding the working  days, attendance of  students, teachers,  conducting of DPSE  Annual  Examinations, etc., for this  programme.   

⏩ 5. Regarding the admissions necessary  amendments are  being issued  in  the DEECET  Rules issued  vide  G.O.Ms.10,  School  Education (Prog.II)  Dept., dated 12.04.2017. 

⏩  6. Regarding the  Fees, C&DSE  must  follow  G.O.Ms.No.128, Edn.  (SE-Trg.III) Dept., dt.20.10.2003  on  par with the  D.El.Ed. programme  being conducted in  the Govt. DIETs.

⏩   7. The DPSE curriculum  prepared by the  SCERT shall  be  implemented  for the   conduct of this  programme. 

⏩  8. The  DPSE  internship  programme  shall be  implemented  in  the  Govt.  Primary Schools where the anganwadi  centres are functioning  in  the Govt. Primary Schools.
